Recent Developments
Polymatech Electronics Limited is expanding from semiconductor component manufacturing towards integrated technology products and electronic systems.
Singapore Manufacturing Facility: In June 2026, the company opened an advanced electronics manufacturing facility in Singapore through its wholly owned subsidiary, AEIM Pte Ltd, backed by an investment of approximately US$25 million. The facility is equipped for LED Chip-on-Board (CoB) packaging, which involves assembling LED chips into compact light-source modules for horticulture, medical, industrial inspection and specialised applications. It also has advanced memory-module assembly capabilities for computing, enterprise and industrial electronics. The facility is intended to serve as the company’s Asia-Pacific manufacturing hub and strengthen its international supply chain.
Healthcare Products: The company is expanding into finished healthcare products with its vein-finder device, moving beyond component manufacturing towards supplying application-specific products directly to the market. It has appointed distributors in Singapore, Malaysia, China, New Zealand and Australia to support its international distribution.
Nava Raipur Manufacturing Unit: Polymatech has received approval for a semiconductor and electronic-components Special Economic Zone (SEZ) at Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The proposed facility is intended to manufacture semiconductor packaging, electronic components, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and advanced materials. The project has a proposed investment of up to ₹1,143 crore to expand its domestic manufacturing capabilities.
Key Acquisitions
- Nisene Technology Group, USA: Acquired to expand capabilities in semiconductor decapsulation, failure analysis, reliability testing and advanced semiconductor packaging equipment.
- Brandner Electronics OÜ, Estonia: Acquired to strengthen PCB manufacturing, semiconductor substrates and European electronics manufacturing capabilities.
- ECM Group, France: Entered into a joint venture for sapphire ingot and wafer manufacturing. This is a strategic partnership rather than an acquisition.
Financial Performance
Polymatech Electronics Limited’s revenue increased from ₹649 crore in FY23 to ₹1,903 crore in FY25, representing a two-year CAGR of approximately 71%. Revenue grew by 56% year-on-year in FY25.
EBITDA increased from ₹184 crore in FY23 to ₹487 crore in FY25, while the EBITDA margin declined from 28.35% to 25.59%. PAT rose from ₹167 crore to ₹375 crore over the same period. The company also reported positive free cash flow of ₹226 crore in FY25.
At current price of 46 per share , Polymatech trades at a P/E ratio of 4.88x and a P/B ratio of 1.44x.
Key Risks
- IPO Delay Risk: SEBI returned Polymatech’s DRHP in March 2024 due to inconsistencies in numbers, data or facts in the offer document or related submissions. The exact discrepancy was not identified in the publicly available record reviewed. The IPO timeline therefore remains an important uncertainty for unlisted shareholders.
- Credit Rating and Disclosure Risk: Acuité downgraded the company’s bank facilities to ACUITE B in February 2025 and classified the issuer as “Issuer Not-Cooperating” due to information risk. Investors should review the latest credit-rating rationale and financial disclosures to assess the current position.
- Customer Concentration Risk: The company’s top five customers accounted for approximately 62% of revenue in FY23, according to reported IPO disclosures. Dependence on a limited number of customers could affect revenue if major orders are reduced or discontinued.
- Working Capital Risk: Receivables and inventory can tie up substantial funds in semiconductor manufacturing. Delays in customer payments or slower inventory turnover could put pressure on operating cash flow
