Lava Unlisted share update : Dixon and Amber to invest in the LAVA
Lava International is reportedly in discussions with promoters of Dixon Technologies and Amber Enterprises for a potential investment in the company, according to a Moneycontrol report.
The promoters are considering investing in Lava in their personal capacities. The company is looking to raise around ₹500–600 crore, with the funds potentially being used for expansion and debt restructuring.
Lava is also planning a larger push into mobile phone components. The company has outlined investments of around ₹1,100 crore over the next five years across display modules, camera modules, PCBs, multilayer PCBs and enclosures.
The development comes as the government prepares to support domestic mobile phone manufacturing through its ₹62,500 crore Mobile Phone Manufacturing Scheme. Lava is expected to apply under the scheme’s segment for Indian-owned smartphone brands.
The company has been expanding its focus beyond feature phones and is looking to strengthen its presence in the smartphone segment while increasing localisation of its manufacturing operations.
The proposed investment from the Dixon and Amber promoters is still under discussion, and the final deal structure, valuation and investment amount have not been confirmed.
